| My latest hobby: Adding bad eBayers to my blocked bidder list |
|
Edited on Thu Feb-12-09 12:21 PM by The Night Owl
A surprisingly fun thing to do on eBay is to check the feedback a bidder leaves for others and then block that bidder if the feedback he or she leaves for others has been unfair or needlessly rude. For instance, if I come across an eBayer who leaves negative feedback for something that clearly wasn't the seller's fault, I add that eBayer to my blocked bidder list. There are a lot of crazy people on eBay.

| 1. I don't know that I would have time to do that. |

But buyers have definitely gotten worse to deal with since Ebay's stupid "no negatives allowed" policy for sellers. The sad thing is, they know they're the only game in town, and can do whatever the hell they want to us. I wish some of the alternative auction sites would take off, but there's just not much activity on them.
Love your sig, btw ... "Earth rests on the back of a giant turtle, and..." ;)

| 2. Isn't Google putting together a service comparable to eBay? |

I would love to see eBay taken down for its abuse of Big Dog status and Google may be the only other dog big enough to do it.
