Is anyone else using the Paypal debit card?

It's handy.
But I wish it had another feature: the ability to load money onto it at an ATM with cash.
As of now, the only way to load $ onto it is withdrawing from a checking account (which takes five business days!) or by someone transferring money to you from their paypal account (which can take several days) or by buying on eBay (which can be instantaneous).
I would use the function of loading with cash quite often if it were available.

That would be a good feature to have. I try to plan in advance and put money in from my checking account if there isn't money there from ebay sales.

2. yeah, if you don't want to co-mingle the paypal $...

...with household money, it gets tricky and you DO have to plan ahead. Two separate checking accounts seems cumbersome, too.

It gives a bit of cash-back, and it's not technically a credit card so it can't get me into trouble.
I too would love the ability to add cash to my PayPal account through an ATM machine. Maybe it's something we should all e-mail PayPal about and suggest? Transfer from a bank account takes way too long.

I am a bit pessimistic about Paypal. The time it takes to e-transfer money to my paypal account is a bit unbelievable to me. I think they make millions by sitting on the money for a few days before you can access it. When I transfer to paypal the money is usually deducted from my bank account the next day, but it takes literally a week to access it?
The debit card though, I use for internet transactions which don't take paypal.
Edited..I wish they would accept a debit card to do instant transfers.

5. yeah, it's archaic to take five days

and you are right -- the money is immediately deducted from the bank account. If they can make that happen, they can certainly deposit it immediately to the paypal account and not park it for five days in their limbo.

topic before I posted my question above. I am very upset with Pay Pal right now, I think they are a bunch of crooks.
