Anyone else ever get this? You list an item on eBay or CraigsList for the price you need to get to turn a modicum of profit, and some wise-ass e-mails you to say they can get the same thing (or something like it) for less at Wal-Mart/K-Mart/Sam's/what-have-you. I always have the urge to reply with, "So mind your own business and get it there. Be happy." But I realize that might spark a back-and-forth which is totally not worth my time. I wonder about how much time others have on their hands, though.
However, there's a positive angle also - because if my own supplier runs out of that particular item, I can apparently get it for less at Wal-Mart/K-Mart/Sam's/what-have-you. So in effect these lamers are kind-of doing us a service.

| 1. I haven't had that happen, but I'd tell the wiseass that some people |
|
live in places where there are no Walmarts, etc., and they're very happy to buy the stuff off ebay and have the post office deliver it.

If they feel that way - why do they bother to even leave a message?
I've looked at items and thought the same thing, but just moved on.

| 3. I have, although the items I have are rather unique |

The individual wrote to me saying they found the same thing on EBAY for far cheaper. I personally checked the claim out to see the proof and was unable to find "the identical items".
I am just left with the impression that they were trying to get me to lower the price to rock bottom when no other items existed like the items I had for sale.
