Hey Vinca, what ever happened with the Reagan teapot?

I was looking around the archives and came across this thread of yours from 2007 and wondered about it. The Republicans have so much Reagan lust that I wondered if you ever sold it.

1. Yes - I sold it on ebay quite a long time ago.

I don't recall what it sold for, but I was happy with the deal. This Friday is the annual sale where I found it, so maybe I'll get lucky on something again. Oops - editing to add that at the spring sale held at this church I found a Reagan White House tie clip. Apparently someone in the congregation loves Ronnie. I sold that, too, for about $45.

I'm glad you were happy with the sale of the teapot and the clip. I noticed that it was 2 years ago this month when you posted about the teapot and thought how fast time goes by. It doesn't feel like it's been two years.

As I type this I also remember a discussion of a shade of green paint that always got things sold. At least my memory is still a little sharp. :D

3. Wow! You're good. I'm still slapping that green paint on small tables

and it still works. Has to be the right shade, though. The company came out with a new shade of green and I tried it and the little table nearly grew roots before it sold.
