| I scored big at a yard sale Saturday. Bet you're jealous! |
|
OK, no Faberge eggs, old silver or period furniture.
I got an almost new Dyson Vacuum cleaner for $100.00. One brush is missing but no matter.
My old vac is held together with a clamp and duct tape---not kidding. I would be faced with buying a new vac soon but never could afford a Dyson. The housecleaning gods must be looking over me. The woman did not like it.
This thing is amazing. I had cleaned the day before with my old Hoover and it looked good to me but I had to try the Dyson. You'd think I did not clean this place for months.
Bagless, lifetime Hepa filter. I cleaned it up completely before bringing it into the house. Leave someone else's dust outside.
My Christmas present to myself.

| 1. Oh, yeah? Well I scored big on Friday at a moving sale. |
|
For $125 I bought two newly upholstered and never used stuffed armchairs for my sun porch. I was happy, happy, happy. The floral pattern picks up all the colors of the room and floor perfectly. (On a side note, I'm always amazed at how much stuff I can cram into my Rav4.) I'd like to find a new vacuum cleaner, though. My old Electrolux weighs a ton. Great find on the Dyson!

| 2. It's great when you find something at a price that makes you smile. |

I find goodies for the house that I never thought of looking for. Congrats on the chairs, they sound wonderful. I sure wish I had a porch. What a great spot to read on a summer eve or to leave the wet or muddy boots after nasty winter weather.
I keep a mental list of things friends and family are looking for. Never know what will turn up. Happy hunting.

| 3. I found a refurbished Dyson at an electronics store for $200! |
|
I decided to splurge since I was buying pos vacuums yearly that cost about $100. I have a dog, and the vacuums would keep breaking down. Dyson is definitely worth it.

| 4. Enjoy, don't be surprised if you are shocked at the amount of |

fur, dust and stuff it picks up. The thing is amazing. When I take care of my daughters dog, I am left with a layer of Yellow Lab fur on everything the dog comes near. Out comes the vac. Gone

| 5. I've had it for about 6 months now and I love it. Except using the hose |
|
is kinda a pain - it's so stiff and not very long. Put that's okay - I have a $20 Bissel electric broom that does a great job on the floors. The Dyson is a must have for an animal owner.
