is this item a sleeper?

Copper urn on shopgoodwill. I'm not going to buy it, but I am very intrigued by it. What do our pickers think about it?

1. I like the tall one....

just personal taste.....and around here it is worth almost what the bids are for scrap. :)

2. The tall one is very interesting, combines both Deco and Nouveau.

The small pitcher looks like a made in India. I don't recognize the mark on the big one. It looks like a beaver or some other animal.

My personal feeling is that the little one is very low end. I like the big one. Not a bad price either.

It's the tall copper urn that's interesting. I really like it a lot, but I also think it "might" be worth a pretty penny to someone with a craftsman house.

I don't recognize the mark at all. It's very attractive though.

From the research I did, I found that the smaller, hand-hammered piece was worth about $35. The taller piece had a lot of arts and crafts influence. I think it may be worth more than was bid, as similar urns I saw were in the $150 plus range. I looked through a page of hundreds of marks and didn't see that one.

6. I looked through a not-very-good copper price guide and the range of value

for a sort of similar piece was $125 - $150. I'd love to know where that was from. Copper drives me nuts. I know you can find some very valuable pieces if they are signed, but it's "iffy" if they are not. Last weekend I bought a pot for $5.00 that looks very, very early. It was constructed with dovetails - even on the bottom which I thought was unusual - and has the remnants of a tin lining. No signature though so I don't know what it's worth.
