Is it worth anything? I have an old Prince Albert can in my attic crammed full of this old silverware. Getting ready to clean out attic.

1. you can check it out at replacements.com |

get the pattern name, and go to that site and look up what they are buying and selling that pattern for.
Or look it up on eBay and see if it is selling. I'm assuming that what you have is silver plate.

2. You might want to check the price of the can, too. |

is worth money? I never had thought about it being more than something in the way. I stuck the silverware in it years ago and never looked back. I am not sure if it is plated or not. How do I tell if it is plated?

5. what do the marks say on the back of the pieces? |
|
That will be our first clue.
And yes, sometimes an old can is worth some money. What's the can like?

Just an old can I have had for years. It looked like it would hold all the silverware and I stuffed it in the can. There is a lid somewhere. My Father in Law gave me the can with a bunch of thread spools in it. I used to sew quite a bit and he asked if I wanted the thread. His garage was full of junk. He gave me a huge crock with a handle that I really liked. I then started a collection of crocks and have some nice ones. They too sit in the attic. There is so much stuff up there that it will take a semi to haul it away.
