Closed online store?

Eight days ago I placed an order at an online store for some inexpensive fairy earrings for my daughter-in-law. I rec'd an automated confirmation immediately, but when I emailed the store a couple days ago to check on my order, I got my email back as Undeliverable.

My order status page is still marked Pending. There was a phone number listed on the page, but that's been disconnected. I tried to cancel my order on the order Pending page, but I couldn't. What can I do?

1. How did you pay?

If by Paypal, I think there are ways to get them involved. If by credit card, I would dispute the charge once it shows up. Then again, no charge may ever show up. Good luck!

I paid by credit card.

I've never had this happen before, so I didn't know what to try to do next.

I really appreciate your advice.

I printed the order, the receipt, the Payment Pending page, and now I am going to print the emails I sent to the store that came back as Undeliverable.

3. You've got plenty of documentation to dispute the charge.

It would be up to the seller to prove that they sent you the product. Good for you! :hi:

4. as long as the payment is still 'pending', it won't show up on your charges yet

pending means it hasn't been processed yet. If they closed the store down, it'll never be processed.
