I've been 'visiting' with my folks in florida since march; dad's 94, living in a retirement community; mom is 88, in nursing home.
65 IS NOT OLD!!!! The residents here keep asking me what I'm doing here! They say, 'She doesn't belong here,' especially when I complain about some of their ridiculous points of view, like about politics.
I'm 63, and a spring chicken according to these folks! And I feel like one, too, around here, anyway. And Joe appears to have ten times the energy that I have!

I'm getting a bit tired of seeing age brought up as an issue. To be PC, people need to stop using the word "old" and replace it with elderly. Elderly to me, is anything over 80.
(I know you were just saying it in jest Pirhana)
