Clip on Biden from the Today show- |
|
Footage I hadn't seen before -- at Mass yesterday morning, and a flashback to him traveling on Amtrak (part of what you might have seen, Pirhana) It says that Obama's camp has warned Biden to stay on topic. :grr: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/26388375#26388375This clip is interesting, too -- http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/26388375#26388345

Veterans night is also Joe's night.
unfortunately, I know that a bunch of Wes fans will grumble about this, as Securing America is name of Wes' site, and also his life story. (so much for sour grapes.)
Remember power of Joe's 'sacred trust' speech?

Poor choice of directive. How about they "advise" him to stay on topic.:grr:

4. That's what pissed me off, too. They shouldn't have even said anything - |
|
and if asked, assured them that Senator Biden can speak for himself (even if they were doing the knife across the throat gesture to him in private)

6. I wish they would have shown more of the train tape. |
|
You guys would melt.
I can imagine they warned him but I just hope they don't stiffle him. Joe is at his best when he speaks freely and I really think he has learned to be more careful.
Unbelievable that they had to show that clip of Biden's dropping out of the race speech from '88.
Thursday nite he is suppose to talk about Veterans? For the whole speech? eh.

Joe doesn't do well scripted. He's better on his own. I think he can show restraint, without being "warned". I hope he wrote the speech for Wednesday night, because it will be natural for him.

8. That word" warned " is.......... |

Edited on Tue Aug-26-08 09:20 AM by murbley40
th type of thing that has annoyed me from the beginning with his "camp". I hope this is a good experience for Joe and Jill and that he does not eventually regret his decision to accept. If they want him to do a job, too many "warnings" may derail the train. In the meantime, I think they should be a great team.

9. Actually, the word "warned" is the word the reporter used -- |
|
we don't really know if that's what the Obama camp actually said.

10. I hope that's the case |
|
the word "warned" really rubbed me the wrong way. Hopefully, they have enough sense to let Biden be Biden.
