Last nite I caught Joe's speech again - and you know what?

It was really good.
I'd even call it a homerun.

I don't know if the first time I watched it -
I was expecting something else, so I was disappointed?
I was expecting to see the Joe Biden that makes Condi Rice squirm and stutter?
Or if I was just expecting too much.

It was a different speech for Joe. Well - duh, pirhana!! He's in a different role!
The first part was all about family.
The second part he was talking to all the average Joe's out there, and he had the audience in the palm of his hand.
At the end, he tried to change the 'Obama is not ready for commander in chief' and even tho that chant may have been a little hokey, audience involvement is key...and that was totally different for him. Just think back to the Harkin Steak Fry!

So anyone who read my rants last nite, I was wrong.
Biden rocked last nite!


And - I saw the re-run on CNN. Inspite of what was posted out there - They LOVED his speech.
Jeffrey Toobin and a couple of Repugs ripped it apart - one saying she can't wait to use it next week. Of course the repugs are going to say that.


I was just relieved that Biden didn't smack Obama for planting one on Jill. heeheee..

4. That God awful Mike Murphy

was on MSNBC yesterday and he dissed every speech of the convention. The crowd behind him booed him a lot. I was waiting for someone to throw something at him. Smug idiot!

I'm with you. I watched it again and it really was good.
