(he is 84, a WWII vet and just a kick to be around), and we were talking about Sarah Palin. I said "Dad, she just scares the crap out of me, to have a pentecostal evangelical, right wing, Christian nut job that close to the presidency." Without missing a beat and in a deadpan voice he looked at me and said "Well I knew it right away with that hair doo she couldn't possible see to the left." He always had that knack to make me laugh when I was upset.
