And I am so shocked, because I am soooo poor these days that I haven't been able to donate 1 cent to the Obama/Biden campaign.

I wonder if it's because in 2004 I signed up at Biden's old pac - Unite Our States.
So I have been on their mailing list for awhile. I think that's why I get Christmas cards from the Bidens.
Or if it's because I did donate to Biden's campaign during the primaries.

Whatever the reason, it's now framed and sitting on my fireplace mantle.
Hahaha - Just wait to my repug hubby comes home :P

8. I put out a plea for my belated 40th

for an autographed Biden photo...since I'm not in DE I couldn't request his office for one. And I've had no takers so far.

I've donated to the Obama campaign since then...and so far NOTHING :cry:

I reminded him that Joe Biden is off limits, got in my car and left for awhile. I knew if I stayed, I would have gone off on him.

But, at the same time, he knows how much I love Joe and will probably be happy for me.


I can't believe that I dated him for 2 years before we got married and we never discussed politics.
No, I wasn't actively involved back then, but I have always been a die-hard Dem.
The funny thing is, is that he ordered a McCain bumpersticker months ago, and I got the mail when it came in and have been hiding it ever since. :P I bet he's wondering why he hasn't gotten it yet!

A friend whom I love dearly is a Repub, which is SO out of character with who he really is. His father (and pretty much his entire family) is a Democrat who is on the verge of being re-elected for the third time for a city position in Las Vegas. It must break his heart to know Dave buys into the Republican bullshit.

It is taking every ounce of will power that I possess not to send him videos, articles, etc. In all other areas he's logical and sane (he's an IT person), but we know that people become irrational when it comes to politics. I have the utmost respect for you and your husband that you have managed to peacefully co-exist. I know it can't be easy.

About my hubby - he was impressed with Joe in the debates when he went after Hillary on UHC.
