1. This is SUCH a wonderful piece, JIOOU! I swear, I learned more about our |
|
government and the power of the branches than I ever did in school.

2. Anyone hear Lynn Cheney this a.m. on Morning Joe |
|
talking about how "mysterious" the Constitution is???? That pissed me off. I don't find the Constitution "mysterious" at all. That to me is just another Cheney attempt to make it more unreachable and thus skew the vision of Americans so that they start to question as to whether or not it HAS been abused.
I still haven't had much coffee here, so my powers of communication are kind of lame right now, but I'm hoping you get my gist.

3. wha? one of the beautiful things about the Constitution is a 5th grader |
|
can understand much of it, and everyone should be able to understand most of it by the time they're out of high school.
The problem is when one group grabs too much political and economic and military power and ignores it!

4. Yeah, my 8 year old just came home with a |
|
neat list of how to remember parts of the Constitution and it's Amendments. :) For example, for the right to bear arms, they had to rub their arms. :)
I'd vote for Obama/Biden JUST because they are both Constitutional lawyers.
