Since Obama's decision to go with Joe, a lot of doubters have become believers, and even the holdouts begrudgingly concede that Biden is a huge lift for this ticket.

That Biden is the real deal is not news to you -- you've known that all along and held true to it through thick and thin.

But it has to be a bone-deep pleasure for you to see such a good man validated like this.

12. Not at all. We're doing some volunteering for some local elections

but Biden is so completely at home on the campaign trail it just feels great to watch him and hear him.

And I really do think Palin is in for a very high-pressure evening in the veep debate. With poise and courtesy and deference, I think Biden is going to dissemble her on global news television.

It is no secret that I have passionately supported Mr. Biden from day one. He was my choice for President. It is strange (in some small way) to see people "discovering" the kind of person Biden has been all along. Many of us saw this passion, this dedication, this statesmanship from the very beginning knowing that this was not only the most qualified candidate on either side, but that he was exactly what this country needed at this critical time. While I would have rather seen a Biden/Obama ticket, I am pleased that Biden is there by Obama's side and will help guide him with qualified advice and unquestioned experience.
