So how are you guys watching the debate? |
|
I was going to go to a local event with a pre-debate-debate by some policy experts and watch it on a theater screen, but I've got a headache and just couldn't deal. So it'll be C-Span.org for me at one of my work computers.
I should ball up some paper or something else soft to throw at the screen when McSame talks. Or have the mute button ready.

1. At my laptop, eating a bowl of oatmeal. |

:woohoo: :eyes:
I'm a headache expert - Excedrin works the best, OR, if you're lucky enough to live in the south BC powder.
If it's a migraine or cluster, nothing works for me except hot/cold packs and sticking my thumb in my eye socket.

2. I'm attempting to get some work done but am doubting how much I'll get done |
|
since I've gotten sucked into DU already :)
I don't have internet at my new apartment so I'll be watching it at work with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. Paradoxically, coffee usually helps my headaches. I think I got this one because the weather front was coming through today and I skipped lunch 'cause I was driving to a meeting - which turned out to be a waste of time anyway. I also didn't have coffee this morning, so maybe that's why I got the headache. I've become a slight coffee addict in the last year.

3. Caffeine DOES help -- you get a whopping dose of it in Excederin and |
|
my BC Powder. I think when I used to have migraines that the medication I took had caffeine in it, too.
And, caffeine withdrawal headaches - nothing much helps but more caffeine.
