I didn't think it was that funny.
The hairplugs line was totally unnecessary.

1. I hope they find someone better to play Joe |
|
I don't think the actor did a very good job. The hair plugs comment pissed me off too.

2. I watched the clip just now |
|
I thought it was somewhat humorous. Of course you knew that Tina/Sarin was going to steal the show.
Mavericky!

3. I liked the 'Joe Biden is better thanTHAT' line |
|
Some of the actors moves looked like JRB - but he's got a long way to go to be our cupcake.

5. Joe isn't easy to imitate |
|
but that guy was the closest in appearance to Joe. Overall I wasn't disappointed. Joe is a major political figure now and he will be the brunt of jokes right along with everyone else. It actually is a test as to whether his personality can sustain a little satire - of course, we know he can and will.

The Hair plugs line was fine in my book. Now in comic setting, independence learned of them... So Now when the GOP is reaching DEEP into what they perceive it a good Jab. it is already not so sharp...
All and all I liked it SNL tried to be fair.
Fellow Bidenites. I have a confession... I just heard about Joe's M-I-L ... I really do not know what his feelings towards her were...(positive I suspect) um, I hated my Mother-in-law, (the feeling was mutual) not to the point of doing anything to her, but enough to be relieved should the same situation have occurred. there fore I am unsure as to be happy or sad for him?

No matter how he felt about his MIL, his feelings for his wife will still be the same, who is probably losing her mother.
On edit: I just read that she did die. I didn't realize that when I posted this.

I haven't laughed so hard all day! (Regarding the MIL comments.)
Both my husband & I have both had difficulty with our respective mother-in-law's.

8. Consider this hug reaching all the way across the country to you |
|
I'd bet JRB and his MIL had warm feelings toward each other - considering the Biden clan and how open and loving Jill is toward just about everybody. They are in my thoughts.
