Joe Sr. seemed like such a great guy and really good Dad. Funny that he didn't want his son the Senator to have a used car-salesman for a Dad.

3. Wow - great article! But even more amazing

is that the NYT chose to print it so close to the election.

It's almost as if they are giving the future VP extra buildup, extra promotion.

And thank goodness they printed it now. Seems like the only thing voters would
know about Biden, thanks to the msm, is about his 'gaffes'.
Even Dem spokespeople on tv aren't standing up for his last comments. I was watching Larry King last nite, and Katrina VandenHauvel was on. When Biden's last comments came up, all she could say was something like Biden is known for tripping over his tongue. It was actually REPUBLICAN Christopher Hitchens that stood up for Biden's comments saying that what Biden said was right, all new Presidents get tested and what Biden said was that Obama was ready for the test.

So, to have the NYT print that at this very moment is a blessing, a godsend.
Now more people will know what Biden is really made of. A tough guy, a fighter for the middle class.
