Guys, all of a sudden I feel like I could puke

I cannot believe that we only have really one more day to go (keep in mind it is already late Sunday afternoon here).

All this really irritating TV talk of how McCrypt could pull it off is annoying the FUCKING shit out of me. The Repubes are on every channel LYING about how McInsanity is in the process of gaining momentum. I truly depise Brokejaw, he has been the worst today, quoting that asshat Krauthammer (WaPO) Neocon jerk, Tweety's show was great, I felt positive after I saw that.

Earlier I had such a nice day too, bike riding with my husband along the lake. It was cooler than yesterday, and the colors are now muted, pretty nonetheless.

I may be far way, but my GAWD, I am sending Barack and Joe every vibe I have (as is the rest of Europe, no doubt!)

Off to the lounge to post some pictures. Here's the link, enjoy! http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x8208148

1. We had movie day yesterday,
so I've been blissfully unaware of the MSM spin. They aren't even subtle about their bias. I can only hope that it backfires & helps GOTV.

Lovely, lovely weather here in Colorado! The nicest Halloween evening we've had in years! We even had the front door open until about 8:00. Not one trick-or-treater, though! So now I have 3 bags of Halloween candy! I'm not sure the strategy of buying candy you like is a good one! I think next year I will buy candy I don't like!

2. Okay, I posted the photos in the lounge

I think the movie idea is a good thing. Tomorrow I am going to the only place that sells microwave popcorn, and I'm going to pick up some snacks (chips, tortillas, etc) It will be a long night for us on Weds (it will be midnight our time when the first polls in IN and KY close)

I've recorded a few movies, and DL'd one from iTunes -- plus there are some good shows on German TV tonight. Thank GOD I speak the language now and can go native, it's like a whole other universe. But I can't totally escape the election, all the papers had huge stories this morning and this past week, even Europe has the fever!

3. Deep breath....exhale.....deep breath.....
I know how you feel. My stomach is in knots, and I've had indigestion for a week. I'm going to keep myself real busy these last couple of days, canvassing, phone calling, working all day on the 4th, getting others out there.

One very cool thing that got me motivated was last evening I got to be part of a conference call from Obama. It was unbelievable. Of course, I couldn't talk to him, there were something like 20,000 of us on the line, but it was his voice, live! I almost started to cry. I'm not the weepy type at all, but he sounded so tired, and my heart went out to him.
I thought, "If he can keep going, there is no excuse for me, sitting all comfy here in my favorite chair, dog on my lap, TV on, and a nice warm binky to boot. It's 9:30 PM EST, and he's heading out to another rally. Get a good night's rest, you lazy, livvy, and GET UP! (I think cupcake channeled me) AND GET BACK ON THE TRAIL YOURSELF TOMORROW!"

I'm going out again today, armed with my Rolaids and ace-bandaged feet. I'm taking no prisoners. All Obama supporters must vote!

Keep sending the vibes! :)

6. You rock livvy!
:yourock: :yourock: And so do our guys!! I noticed that Barack sounded and looked really tired on Saturday, no small wonder he barked at those reporters. Give the guy some family time, GEEZ!!

It's so sad that he has had to expend so much energy, and will then get thrust into this mess that Asshat Bush leaves behind. IMHO, he should take a long vacation to gear up, but of course you know they won't. They will hit the ground running.

McCain will just hit the ground.

8. And hopefully he has dug the hole deep enough...
that he and all the rest of his irresponsible, incompetent, and criminal cronies will all fit into in an uncomfortable squish of the worst this country has to offer. May they rest for a real long time in each others greedy arms and never claw back up to the surface.

I'm sure we'll have to round up some stragglers, but with Obama and our Joe at the helm, we should be able to get some kind of continuity and semblance of rational thought back into our government.

Round 'em up, dump 'em in!

Woooot, woooot! :bounce: :bounce: :patriot: :bounce: :bounce:

And me and the frog approve this message!

10. I'm concerned about Bush
He isn't the focus of attention right now and is still doing damage. God knows what he can do in two months! He's the Master of Disaster!!!

5. You are not the only one. I went out with my Mom today, got away from the polls, tv, and computer.
We went out to lunch and she bought me an outfit! It was fun and a nice way to relax. Funny thing is, she is for McCain and I am for Obama. We tried not to discuss politics. The only thing that gets to me is she really does not like Biden at all and says he talks too much. I told her that I love our whole ticket and will proudly vote for them on Tuesday. She IS proud I am voting in my 4th election!

7. Wow, the restraint. I am so lucky that my entire
family is voting for Barack and Joe, my daughters, my mom, my dad and his wife, my aunts and uncles, cousins, all my friends (oh except one) etc. I honestly don't know anyone in my extended family that is not voting for our team. I'll count myself lucky.

Glad you were able to put politics aside and enjoy the day together, that's what counts.

9. That's too bad about your mom
but she'll get used to Biden and will end up liking him with time! Cuz she'll be seeing a LOT of him the next eight years!
