Man, it's been a long day, but I've had so much fun! I've been at our staging area since about 9:00 this morning. We were busy, busy, busy all day with volunteers coming in to call and knock on doors. My phone has never had such a workout.

3. I avoid GDP. Posters are way too high strung for me....

even in my currently highly agitated state. I'm afraid my nervous system would short-circuit.

I have my little clipboard with all the states on it, and I'm keeping a tally of the EV's as they are reported. So far it's helping to keep me calm (or sort of calm, anyway!), and keeping my thoughts somewhat unscrambled.

10. What really makes me happy, is my county.

Right now my county is showing a strong showing for Obama. There is something going on in my city, though. They have got to be having some kind of problem. Usually they are very timely about posting results. So far, nothing posted, and this is unusual. They have to be having problems. Stupid machines. If we were hand-counting the paper ballots in each precinct, we'd be about half-way done by now.

I'm really looking forward to the results from my city. My Obama organizer was such a sweetie, and he worked so hard. I'll miss seeing him.
