1. That's so funny about the rat.

But I also have to laugh how Biden was talking about how Jill puts little notes up all over the place. He told me that story too - on the phone. I had the honor of being invited to a conference call before one of the debates. I was such an idiot. There was some dead time before everyone got on the call...I started giving him a pep talk :crazy: He then told me that I remind him of his wife Jill (my name is Jill too) because she is always leaving him little notes of encouragement all over the place. :rofl: It must really bug him if he keeps bringing it up.

I just kept my mouth shut for the rest of the phonecall other than shouting out "good luck" at the end, as many others did. It was really cool - definitely something I will cherish for ever.
Not as much as a handshake or seeing him in person would have been. But it was something.

husband did that for me and we have only been married 7 years, not over 30 like Joe and Jill! They are an adorable couple that is for sure. I can't believe you actually talked to him on the phone! I am so jealous. The people who got to meet/talk to Joe and Barack are very lucky as their access will be much more limited not that they have been elected Prez and VP.

I just LOVE Halloween! In fact, I still have my Halloween decos up!

But here's whats really funny: I have so many Halloween decos that this year I had to force myself to not purchase anymore cuz I don't have room to display them all. But I was walking through a Halloween store with a friend a few weeks ago & there was this bucket of rubber rats & they were so damned cute I had to buy one. It's a black one with red beady eyes! :rofl:
