Interesting reading -
David Corn was trying to get to the bottom of why Hillary was chosen as SoS - nobody could give him an answer - so he started bugging people close to Joe. They had no clue either.

hmmmm - I wonder if Joe was in on this decision.
At the same time I just can't believe that he wouldn't have been part of the final decision.
Maybe Joe was tight lipped and didn't even discuss it with his aides.

I trust Obama to chose the people that he believes will help him the most.
I trust Obama more than I would trust anyone else to make these decisions because I believe he
wants to get this country back on track and would not jeoporidize his goals. He seems overly careful in his decision making.

But, as a die-hard Bidenite, I can't help but wonder where Joe falls into all of this.

1. I have to say I trust Obama as well
During the campaign he has proven to be brilliant in his choices and I know he listens to advice unlike the current president.

I'm quite sure Joe has had a fair share of input in decisions that are being made - what a waste if he hasn't been an integral part of the transition phase.

3. Perhaps Obama and Biden are just not that "leaky"
if you know what I mean. I am positive he had a part in who was picked as SoS as he will be the one to most likely work directly with that person. Hillary and Joe have always gotten along well, he even sat with her at the State of the Union! I think Obama feels with all he has to do domestically he needs a top team for foreign policy, one to come up with ideas and a well known face to implement the ideas.

4. I don't feel very positive about Obama's selections so far.
I'll hold my criticism until after he's in office & had some time to implement some of the change he campaigned on, but I don't feel hopeful, right now.
