Tad Devine defended Joe on MSNBC |
|
Edited on Thu Jan-22-09 01:58 PM by PatSeg
"I don't think VP Biden is going to change. And I think that is tremendous....he's very well liked and very well respected and he says what he thinks and you know what, I think that's a good thing."
The republican strategist was positive towards Joe as well, but the media keeps trying to make a story out of Joe's joke about Justice Roberts. Something to the effect of "He's jovial. He's friendly. He's not a mean spirited person. If he had a reputation of being a mean-spirited person, this might be perceived as something of an affront."

1. Here we go again - the only press Joe gets is negative press. |
|
Thankfully people are speaking up defending him.

strategists made it quite clear it was a non-story. I wish Obama wouldn't have displayed any displeasure openly on camera, but he may not have realized how obvious his facial expression was.
There certainly are more important stories than Biden's harmless joke.
