I am soooo excited that Obama picked Holbrooke to be in charge of Pakistan/Afghanistan.

He and Joe are great friends, have alot of respect for each other AND
I remember him from the hearings Joe would have on that area.
Holbrooke was always very down to earth and very honest - brutally honest.
A great fit.

And as an added bonus, Holbrooke also has a great relationship with John Kerry, who took Joe's spot on the SFRC as chairman.

An amazing team in all respects.

It's kinda like putting together a winning sports team. Obama has his heavy hitters
by his side, in the Senate, in the State Dept, and now on the ground.

So excited by everything that has happened this week :)
