From USA Today:
In the Bush-Cheney years, as Gawker.com points out, you couldn't really see the vice president's mansion in Washington in the satellite images available at Google Earth. The pictures that came up were digitally blurred.
Now, if you do a Google Earth search for "One Observatory Circle" in Washington, there it is:

Just before Inauguration Day, Google tells Gawker, crisp images became available from Digital Globe.
Things have changed in another way since Vice President Biden took over from Dick Cheney.

• Swearing in Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., to be her state's new senator.
• Lunch with Senate Democratic caucus Lunch.
• Private meetings at the White House.
Update at 4:15 p.m. ET. And at 5 p.m. ET, the White House now says, Biden will be swearing in:
