PALM BEACH--A unexpected vice-presidential visit in our own backyard. Vice-president Joe Biden is on Palm Beach making an unscheduled visit to a very well-to do friend. According to our news partners at the Palm Beach Post, he is staying at the home of Netscape founder Jim Clark. Clark's Mansion is a mere 68,000 square feet, with both an ocean and Intracoastal view. It is valued at 52 million dollars.
Why Mr. Biden's on the island is a mystery. Late this week he was in Miami for a series of meetings about the economic stimulus plan, but a trip to the Palm Beaches was never officially scheduled. The Palm Beach Post is reporting Air Force Two may not depart until tomorrow. So maybe, you'll get a peek at Vice President Biden in town between now and then.
