Jill has to have surgery on her shoulder today...ouch |
|
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x8525849Of course one poster had to be nasty, as if the Bidens don't want everyone to have health care and Jill never worked full time and probably had her own. Sometimes I wonder why I still stick around DU.

1. There are some pretty ignorant people here |
|
I will send up prayers for a speedy recovery. Having good insurance has nothing to do with her recovery. I work in a hospital and I know of countless cases where people have had complications or the surgery didn't relieve the pain.
They both are such inspirations to me. I hope everything turns out ok.

They seem like such a fun, loving family.
And from the outside looking in, it doesn't seem like there is too much drama in that family. Everyone seems to truly love and respect each other.

7. I'm sure they are not the perfect family |
|
but they are the closest I've ever seen in real life. Through the primaries and the presidential campaign, you rarely saw an attack on this inspiring family. The few feeble attempts sank like a stone.

9. That's one of the reasons I love them so much, the imperfections |
|
They've had to endure a lot but it never destroyed the family. I remember when they tried to make a story of Biden's daughter but it went nowhere.

and they tried to go after Hunter and that didn't go anywhere either. These people are so squeaky clean, they have to resort to the cheap gaffe shots.

Jill Biden 'recovering well' after surgery
Jill Biden, the wife of the vice president, underwent orthopedic surgery yesterday at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital to relieve shoulder pain.
The procedure went "smoothly" and she was released from the hospital, according to Courtney O'Donnell, a spokeswoman for Jill Biden. "She is recovering well," O'Donnell said in an e-mail. - Tom Avril
