1. Are we sure that Beau is going to run? |
|
I haven't ever read that he has made a decision.
But dam - that Castle guy seems pretty popular in DE and it would be a horrible shame if a repuke took over Joe's seat.:puke:

2. I think I remember reading that it was "assumed" he'd go for it, but that |

could just be conjecture with no basis in fact.
I'd hate to see a Repub take that seat!
Go Beau! Who could NOT vote for him? They liked him enough to elect him Atty Gen, and his service in Iraq IS impressive. Then, just trot that beautiful little boy out on stage -- his opponent would be doomed!

Beau should opt for Castle's house seat, setting his sights on the Senate seat after Castle drops off. He's 70, I guess. On the other hand, if Castle's in the race, maybe we need Beau to run for certain now, to keep the Pugs from capturing the seat. I'm thinking, Beau has to be popular in the state, or he wouldn't have been elected AG. Perchance Beau's the only one that could keep the popular Castle from claiming the seat. Ah, politics.

"Castle has never lost a race during his political career of more than 40 years, serving in the state legislature, as Lt. governor, governor, and as the state's lone member of the House." That pretty much sounds like the guy Joe ran against when he was 29. He beat an unbeatable opponent.
