Love the attention that Biden is getting lately and LOVE that the msm is beginning to notice what an asset Joe is to this administration.... it makes me wonder about that recent poll I posted. I have a feeling (a hope?) that Joe's poll numbers will be higher at the end of his stint as VP than they were when going in. Just like DU - once people get passed the cartoon character the media has made out of him people, realize what an interesting, competent, charming guy he really is.
Still proud to be a Bidenite!:patriot:

For a while I was beginning to wonder if Joe wouldn't have been better off staying in the Senate. Being the brunt of dumb jokes on a regular basis had to have been a real letdown. I'm glad things are looking up.

5. Ditto -- I was really not liking the WH shuffling around trying to explain what |

"Joe really meant". And that look O gave him when he made the John Roberts quip still makes my blood boil -- reminded me of my mother. I was wondering if Joe was chaffing under the collar and wondering if he'd made the right choice. But they seem to have hit their stride now, and I'm so glad because they make one hell of a duo!

6. That moment really turned me off |

As president, he sets the tone and it appears the rest of the administration picked up on it. My estimation of Obama went down a few notches that day. Fortunately Joe stood up for himself in private and things have gotten much better. It behooves this administration to take advantage of Joe's many talents and experience. What a waste it would have been if they'd just turned him into a joke, fodder for late night comedians.
I still think the Robert's quip for quite funny and never would have gotten so much media attention if Obama's reaction wasn't so condescending. Hey, if you take Joe, you get that rare sense of humor and unvarnished honesty. God, can you imagine if Obama had chosen Evan Bayh for VP?
