6. I wish Joe wouldn't do the "I really like (name goes here) I really do, but..." |
|
But Joe means it from the heart, so I forgive him that. :7 It didn't bother me much when he'd say it about McCain, so maybe it's just Palin.

7. It cracks me up when he does it because I really think Joe has a big heart and |
|
doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings but he is Joe and says what he thinks...it's like he is conflicted. Starts out sweet and then bam. I'll never forget when he went after Hillary in one of the primary debates, he was smoooooth as silk and after he brought her down, he wimped out and made nice before he was done. So good and giving zingers, but then feels bad about it... must be his strict Catholic upbringing ? :P
It bugged me too when he said that about Palin because I can't stand her.

11. Though he has a big heart, |
|
I think this is a tactic that he uses and often. Zingers are usually preceded by niceties, giving them more of a punch. I don't recall him using it on Rudy though. That was beautiful!
I have to admit complimenting Palin and Cheney before the punch seemed a bit heart to believe. I cannot see any redeeming qualities in either of them.
