It breaks my heart that Biden is back to work today. |

His face looks so sad.
One of the down sides of being in the White House is there are no breaks. I felt for Obama when his grandmother died during the campaign. I saw him speaking shortly after that and his voice broke. Its the only time I saw him show genuine emotion.

2. I was thinking that when I saw this clip on TV -- he looks so sad. And weary. |
|
But he's meeting with the Iraqi leaders today, right, P?
It may be good he's back in the swim, but he's sure to be distracted. But maybe I'm just imposing my experience on him.
What's so sad, he's been through this three times now. :(

3. I think he's suppose to meet with the Iraqi leaders Thursday, but I'm |

wondering if what is going on in Haiti will have any effect on that.
When my mom died, I got called back into work 4 days later...it probably was a good thing as it took my mind off of how much I missed her, but at the same time, I felt robbed of the mourning period.
Both Obama and Joe were robbed of that mourning period. I don't know if that's a good thing.

4. I was amazed when Obama got back up there so quickly. He must've been |

in robot mode to get thru it - ya know - when you do something without even thinking about it. That also had to be tough- and you're right about the emotion part. Maybe he's in constant robot mode? :P

5. And he really didn't have much of a choice |
|
He had to get back to the campaign, time at that point was essential. Once in the White House, it is pretty much the same. World events don't stop and a president has to be ready for anything at all times. I can't even imagine living like that.
