There are some reports that Joe was talking about Kaufmann to run, not Beau.
You can't blame Beau for wanting to keep things simple right now after just coming back from Iraq.

I remember Joe didn't play games about announcing his run (like EVERY other candidate who was in office "just happy to serve the people of... that's all I'm thinking about). Joe admitted it on Ball Maher -- low key, no razzle dazzle -- why play games? I guess I'd assume that Beau might do the same, but that's my assumption.
If he doesn't want the job, the Dem Machine better kick into gear NOW so we don't have a MA/Brown repeat.
