Haven't seen Joe in the news much lately

Anyone know what he's been up to? Its been much too quiet at JBSG this week.

1. Not much in the news about him -- he campaigned for some Mayor on Thursday,

but that's about it that I can tell.

And it HAS been quiet in here.

I'm reading a lot of the Goldman Sachs stuff -- I can't even express how angry it makes me.

2. Yeah, DU has been very interesting the last couple of days

The whole Goldman Sachs story is so surreal to me. Makes you wonder how much we DON'T know. These guys make Gordon Gekko look like a saint. I just can't wrap my head around that level of greed.

3. All I saw is him getting bashed for not donating enough to charities.

And other stupid stuff. He did make a booboo at a fundraiser saying the person was running for the senate, when in fact he is running for the House, but he caught himself & quickly made a joke about it, saying how Harry Reid just called to tell him to run for the senate instead - something like that.... I guess the media might be afraid to report on Joe's "gaffes" since the last one was such a huge hit.

And Joe and gaffes is getting kind of old, even for the MSM. They have plenty of other material to repeat over and over and over again.

5. I heard that crap about the charity, too. I think it said they (Joe and Jill) only

made $300,000 last year - maybe the upper $300,000 range. He's got at least one mortgage and we know he's what, the second least wealthy Senator? People should be applauding that, that he's not rolling in the payola that so many of them are. :grr:

I'm glad the press didn't zero in on that mistake -- that's a perfect example of what they love to call a gaffe when it really isn't.
