Beau Biden released from hospital; "neurologically normal" after mild stroke |
|
(This is a couple of days old, but I wanted to make sure you knew -- just found it myself.)
Beau Biden returned to his Delaware home Tuesday afternoon, a week after suffering a mild stroke, according to state officials. Biden's doctor at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia released a statement saying the Delaware attorney general was "neurologically normal" "perfect in all arenas including motor skills, language function, and cognitive assessment." Biden will be able to assume his full responsibilities "after a brief period of rest at home."
"He is feeling great and is looking forward to returning to work full-time as soon as he can," said state Justice Department spokesman Jason Miller. "We cannot wait to have him back."

Nice to hear some "good news". Doesn't seem to be much of that lately.

by it. I look at my brother and sister-in-law and they're clueless. The only news they get of it is on the local news, just a couple of minutes at most.
I need to back away, too.

I lived on the Gulf years ago and watching the news about the oil spill is much more significant to me. The area was finally starting to recover from Katrina and now the two major industries, fishing and tourism, are being devastated yet again. The Gulf Coast I remember is gone for good.
