"Vice President Joe Biden has apparently been doing a much better job in terms of framing the debate on Democratic terms. Which means the smartest thing Obama could do right now is to send the Vice President out in front of the media and in front of campaign events to make the case a lot more strongly than Obama could (or should). In other words, more Biden, please."
Yes, yes, MORE Biden please.

2. Did you see this comment from one of the moderators? |

"Chris, Biden should have been out on interviews, talk shows and making public comments for a long time. I could give a rats about a gaffe, this man is honest and powerful in his speaking. When Biden reemed BP oil and cohorts while backing our president's efforts in getting retrobution for gulf businesses, Democrats went wild...he was articulate and brilliant how he laid out his response, but he hit hard and it was great to watch. On Leno, GMA, Sunday pundit shows, just speaking off the cuff Biden is a breath of fresh air. Let the detractors make their comments; I've stopped caring about them. Democrats need the fire Biden always brings with him. If you've ever experienced Biden at a rally you'll never forget him, the impact he made, the energy he had, and message. He connects with an audience like few can. Yes, I say More Biden! Much more Biden."
This guy sums up our sentiments exactly.

5. Seems to get a lot more love at Huffington Post |
|
Almost any thread with Biden in the subject line here, drops like a stone. That was a great post and got so little attention. No wonder I spend less and less time at DU.

6. It's certainly become contentious here. I guess I should say MORE contentious. |

Jim (best friend) told me he 'resigned' his FaceBook account today. Like me, he rarely goes and just isn't a fan (although he's the one who made me join to begin with, if I recall, to "up" his number of friends". I said I'd do it too, but my DU friends are there -- so I'm not willing to cut that line of communication. Even though you're farmers now.

7. The connection with our DU friends |
|
at Facebook tends to be more personal than it is here and for good reason. Over there, only your friends can see what you post. I've used the "chat" feature frequently and its nice to just talk with someone.
We're not ALL farmers! Actually I've never been a game person as a rule. Right now I seem to need the escape.

I meant that last post to be a reply to you.
Meanwhile, I read the rest of the comments and all but one were extremely positive. These are my kind of people.

8. Great find gateley! I hope we see more Joe. |
|
I actually just contacted him at WH.gov about this Shirley Sherrod fiasco. I figure if anyone can get Obama to understand why he needs to make a public statement, Joe would be the one.
I am soooo upset about what happened to that woman. I can't stand it. Her father was killed by the KKK and she spent her life to try and end race relations...and Vilsak went after her. Unbelievable.
