As though that were not enough, it so happens that the 14th National Population and Housing Census, which is to start on September 1 to gather data supposedly to determine the demographic and socioeconomic structure of the Venezuelan population, is also going to be handled by the same company (read the Cuban Government).
It is true that it is necessary for any country wishing to plan the future of its citizens by designing public policies that address their needs to conduct a detailed analysis of endless personal and confidential data of the family group and how it copes.
However, what people should not permit or accept is that these highly personal data fall into the hands of a foreign government, much less when that government is a dictatorship of long standing that has dominated its own country for 52 years
