Poll question: Do You Want Herman Cain To Be The Republican Nominee |
|
IMHO, there is no candidate who reflects Republican values more than Mr. Cain. I wholeheartedly support his nomination.

However, maybe there are newly minted victims who will come forward.

5. You can bet the farm that there are more recent victims. |
|
And I'm sure since he has been running for president, he has an even bigger libido and considers himself to be invincible.

If Cain not only survives but thrives, after this formidable challenge to his integrity, we'll all in trouble. To me, it would be portent towards the future, meaning that if Cain can successfully lie about his sexual harassment, he can lie about everything. Not to mention whoever is bankrolling him, controlling his message have a decent chance to put the fix in for the 2012 general election.

3. He Was Trailing Obama By Fifteen Points Before A Face Was Put On The Allegations |
|
It doesn't matter if the Vatican was bankrolling him.
If he gets the nomination it will be impossible for the women who received cash settlements to remain anonymous. It would be a circus up until election day.
He alienates indys, swing voters, and suburban moms. This leaves about thirty five percent to forty percent of the electorate.
Barack Obama could win reelection by Nixon, Johnson, and Reagan margins.

10. But today, his presentation probably raised his standing with the right wing- "fighting |
|
the media", etc. Further, they probably believed everything he said.

8. Poor Herman, he's about to find out about that racism that he's never experienced before. |
|
If all these women turn out to be caucasian, I'm going to venture to say that a whisper campaign will envelop his campaign, and he'll no longer be able to blame the liberal media or black Democrats for his misfortune.

The race of the victims is a convenient distraction for Cain.

16. While there would be great entertainment value in it, |
|
there is a measurable but small chance that pretty much anyone with the republican nomination could become President. Too much to risk. The country would probably survive Mittens. Bachman, KochCain, Paul, Santorum... not so much.
