2. Elizabeth Hasselback is very annoying - whiny, even, but...

I will have to side with her as far as being offended with Maher's joke. It was inappropriate. That being said, she handled it all wrong. She should have asked for an apology and stated that 'rape' jokes weren't funny and why (if it had to come to that). If he didn't apologize, then she made her point and I think people would've noted that. But instead she just had a tantrum about it and started name-calling. It's hard to sympathize with her.

On Feb 3, 2011, Lara Logan and her crew were detained by the Egyptian Army for one night.

On February 4, Maher made the joke about trading EH for Lara on his HBO show.

On February 11th, Lara was sexually assaulted

Either eh didn't know the timeline or, more likely, she just used Ms Logan's sexual assault to falsely claim Maher had made a rape joke.
