| I don't see why Obama can't run on the economy. Specifically when the problem is GOP obstruction |
|
The Economy is a lot better than it was when he took office, and would be even better if not for the Republicans and their historic opposition to anything Obama proposes. Even their own horrible ideas.

| 1. Maybe. I suppose it depends on your perspective. There are many |
|
people who don't know there is a economic crisis for some families.... But having 1-3 children living in poverty is horrible. That's a lot of hungry children and very stressed parents.

| 4. To the OP's point, the Dems need to make voters understand |
|
that the GOP is sitting on its hands rather than do anything to help people out of these situations...all to make the President look bad.
Politics before the good of the nation, plain and simple.

| 3. Obama can definitely run on the economy |
|
But he needs support from Democratic congress critters and spokespeople. There's a message. People need to articulate it and get it out there in front of the voters.

Freedom from having to go to work, freedom from home ownership. I'm a glass half full kind of person.

| 7. He IS running on the economy, and constantly pointing out that the Repubs. in Congress |
|
are more interested in making him a one-term president than helping the economy, and that they are voting against things they always used to vote FOR just because they know it will hurt him. And the majority of people know that.
