most of the minority towns in the state and take away the vote of the people, take over the towns and do whatever the hell he damn well pleases with his new management installed.

4. Dems in Washington need to try and push through...

...a national holiday for election day. If this kind of stuff passes, that will stunt it a bit by giving people a heads up and more time to get appropriate forms of identification - we've got to take this issue head on. Doesn't mean we stop fighting on the state level. In fact, I think we need to start building a Civil Rights violation case against the GOP and take it to court before next summer. These types of measures are outrageous.

8. What's amazing about all of it is that our local news media is doing an atrocious job reporting

all of this. It's a fucking shame. Snyder is taking over our minority cities, destroying voting rights and disenfranchising voters, and taking away from the 99% to give to the 1%. It's atrocious, and our news media around here, whether it's the Detroit News or Detroit Free Press or our local news stations, are not reporting on this. They just breeze by without letting the people know what's actually going on. The vast majority of my family is shocked when I tell them what's happening in the Governor's office because nobody knows what's happening.

Our local news media is so cozy with the Snyder administration, it's scary.
