I have a feeling most of America thinks he's an asshole. The people at work, mostly Republicans, think he's an asshole and aren't talking like they were in 2008 when McLaim won.
He's toast. If he hasn't found a VP by now, he's fucking burnt.

There are varying degrees of conservatism. While I am liberal (and proud of it) my parents and grandparents were all conservatives (father still is to a degree). But, they all supported unions, pro-choice, negotiations with other countries, etc. My father is the only one of them still alive.
I live in Korea and work with people in Japan, my older brother lives in Prague. US neo-conservatives are not conservatives. It's like equating the Japanese Communist Party with Communism

But I wonder if they would be accepted as such by today's conservatives. As for Korea, I have a sil who is Korean and who I adore. Also a niece who was stationed there for a year.

6. Agree, My family were all Republicans except us. Sensible about it. |
|
They detest the extremists like the Tea Party as much as we do. We disagreed on some things, but as a rule they are really feeling disgust with their party.

7. His poutrage about being called either a liar or a felon? |
|
This is no other possibiity.
He is upset about getting caught in another of his many lies.
It really is a sad commentary on our nation that a habitual liar and petty cheat who has not one principle he won't throw under the bus is one of only two people out of 350 million (give or take) with a shot at the highest office in the nation.

I hope it's an attention getter.
I think I may have stuck with the current lies of the Republican Governors. I don't know that I would have brought in something Palin said in 2009 at this point, but maybe that makes it more attention getting.
Thing is, is the ad for the enjoyment of Democrats, or aimed at helping indies make up their minds about for whom to vote?
I can understand the mindset that says "I am sorely tempted to vote third party, but I am in a swing state and don't know whether or not I am willing to risk it, given Florida 2000."
I honestly don't, however, get, or remotely relate to, the mentality that says, "Gee, I just can't decide between Romney and Obama." So, I have no idea what might work with that sorry lot.
