No bounce for Romney story.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/04/romney-convention-bounce_n_1855164.htmlHowever, I will say this: a bounce was a lot more important for Romney. The Republican Convention should have shown Romney off to the nation as a whole for the first time. It really does not bode will for Romney if Americans who don't know much about him only shrug after they meet him in the most flattering context for him.
Obama, on the other hand, has been before the nation four four years. So lack of a convention bounce--if that is what happens--would not be surprising. However, I still think he will get one.
His campaign did a fabulous job with that convention. For once, Democratic messaging was far, far superior to Republican messaging.
(The plank business was a very sour note for me, but I don't think many people were even aware of it.)
