In case anyone was wondering, Kennedy won the Democratic primary. |
|
He faces a smarmy Republican named Beilat, who ran against Frank two years ago.
Since then, however, the Republicans got to re-district, which is why Frank retired. And Kennedy is not experienced at campaigning (seems a little shy) and is not an incumbent, as Frank was.
Both sides will get good advice and money. I think the Kochs may well target candidate Kennedy, as they did Ted Kennedy's Senate seat. The symbolism of Massachusetts, the only state to cast electoral votes for McGovern, and the Kennedy family is a potent lure to Republicans and Republican money.
Good luck and best wishes, Joe III. And we still owe your great-Grandad for the advice he gave FDR on how to rein in fraudulent business people. As far as your grandfather, my eyes tear up everytime I think of the difference he might have made in this country.
Please stay out of small planes and hire your own very well vetted security.
Blessings.
