For the St Lucie Voter Fraud crowd |
|
There has been a tremendous amount of hysteria on the right about voter fraud in St Lucie County Florida. The argument is this, "Out of 175,554 registered voters, 247,713 vote cards were cast in St. Lucie County, Florida on Tuesday." This statement appears to be 100% true. But... Like every conspiracy theory there is a catch. "Vote Cards" There were two vote cards given out to every voter; 1 had the President, Senator, Congress, etc. The other had Amendments. If you turned in just one of the two cards, that was 1 card = 1 voter. If you filled out both cards then it was 2 cards = 1 voter. Hence the number of vote cards will e higher. You'll notice their statement consistently refers to VOTE CARDS. That is explained by most people casting 2 cards.
