So Atlas Shrugged II was a bigger financial flop than the first. That is not what surprised me |

I went to look up Atlas at IMDB and I was stunned to see the number of recognizable actors and actresses that appeared in the movie
Esai Morales who was a regular on NYPD Blue ad is now in Fairly Legal Kim Rhodes who is a recurring character in Supernatural, was in The Suite Life (almost as embarrassing), Paul McCrane from Henry's Law John Rubenstein Deidrich Bader from the Drew Carey show Robert Picardo from Stargate and SG-1 Rex Linn from CSI Miami Michael Gross WTF! Michael Gross from Family Ties Patricia Tallman from Babylon 5
And there are others whose faces I recognize like Ray Wise from Reaper. The movie had a budget of about 10 million dollars. Did these clowns work for free? Is Michael Gross an Ayn Rand slatherer? I was stunned at who was in this movie and was further stunned when I found out that Jean Stapleton's son directed this piece of drivel.
I'm just glad it was a financial disaster. Hopefully, part III will never see the light of day

1. Obviously this was a right wing propaganda effort. |
|
They are promoting greed and selfishness on every front.
Many right wing nuts now focus their rants about the lazy undeserving, that won't work, sucking off the government teat. These same nuts used to be primarily consumed by abortion or guns.
Pretty easy to see what is coming. It won't be pretty.

2. Drew Carey is a Libertarian, which he jokingly(?) describes as a Republican who smokes pot. |
