1. I suppose the old son of a bitch is |

in a hardened bunker somewhere were a drone won't reach him. I'm all for trying a drone in this instance. We use drones all over the fucking place, for any old reason, anyway.

2. The right is blaming Democrats for unrest in the Middle East. |
|
The right of both major political parties has always favored strong dictators (or military figureheads) in the Middle East because that is more stable and the whole world loves a stable OPEC.
Besides, those people are brown. They don't matter. Our drone program proves that. If you add up all the drone attacks on known terrorists located in Western Europe....
No leader in the free world wants to kill a four year old blue eyed girl with blond ringlets and a peaches and cream complexion, for pity sake.

3. I agree, brown people don't count. |
|
Brown people have never counted in the entire history of Euro-American imperialism. Brown people are so very convenient in that way.
The right has zero credibility in the foreign policy arena. The media pretends the "right" has credibility. It's as if Bush, WMDs and Iraq never happened.
Remember, this is the party of WMDs, mushroom clouds, 911 and outing a C.I.A. agent. If we had anything like a fair and objective media the "right" would never be heard from in this country again.
I agree that both parties always prefer a right wing dictator. Look what we are still trying to do in Latin America.
Is the "right" suggesting the Obama Administration should have prevented the Arab Spring? I think the administration probably had a hand in creating the Arab Spring. I don't understand their motives, however. It's sort of like a REAL domino theory. Remember the uprising after the Iranian election?
Something is afoot and I do not think social media adequately explains it.
