On today's Sunday Morning, I learned something about how charities account. |
|
When calculating how much of the charity's donations go to client services, they are allowed to count things like salaries of the charity's officers and staff, legal fees and lobbying costs.
That would be like the SEC's allowing a corporation to advertise to prospective stockholders, including most of it's operating expenses as "net profits."
So, there ya go. It's not only for profit corporations that politicians allow to scam us. They let not for profits do so as well.
Good to know they are equal opportunity whe they stick it to taxpayers, consumers, the donating public, etc.

1. Oh, they are looking out for our bests interests I tells ya. |

It's like every politician is the friend of any scammer, schemer or grifter that comes down the pike. It's really looking like Idiocracy has taken hold.
We need to form a million person human message to our elected representatives that says, "Fuck you!"
I don't know where to hold this little protest event. It would have to be one huge open area venue.

2. They've already sent the world's population that message. |
|
They'd assume it was an echo.
