All I'm hearing lately is that the Clintons want Weiner to drop out of the race. |
|
Mrs. Weiner had said something about the Weiner marriage having its ups and downs, like other marriages. Apparently, the Clinton camp interpreted that comment as a reference to the Clintons and the Clintons are livid about the allegedly implied comparison.
(Can anyone explain to me why?)
And, supposedly, the Clintons think the Weiner mess could--wait for it--harm Hillary's chances at the Presidency, should she decide to run. (As if anyone forgot about Bill and Monica and others?)
I don't know if any of this is true. If it is, it is the most incredibly self-centered view of someone else's political and marital problems I have come across in a good while.

2. I cannot imagine how this will do it, but Christie might. |

Like Hillary, his lust for the office is palpable.
That's one of the many problems with the Presidency. Anyone who wants it is unfit for it.
