Bob Shieffer: all that has been debunked: all shots from "behind" the book depository. |
|
Behind the book depository? Gee, I guess that really was a magic bullet.
Anyway, Shieffer says no one fired from grassy knoll. Crazed gunman.
Count Shieffer in the 13% of Americans who believe that.
(I think all 13% will speaking out on TV this month.)

2. I have a hard time following all the theories. |
|
Not that I believe the lone nut theory about any of the assassinations of the 60s but I find it interesting how character assassination took over in the late 80s. What happened to Reagan probably struck "too close to home".
Now we only off third-world dictators, and we do that publically.

3. Prime suspects (I think) as to JFK are CIA, Mafia, Republican Cubans |
|
CIA was then headed by Poppy Bush.
Mafia, supposedly because they delivered a state to JFK at the request of Joe, then Attorney General RFK went after the mafia tooth and nail and their feelings were hurt. Jack Ruby was supposedly connected with the Mafia.
However, our government, including Nixon and JFK, often at least considered having someone from the Mafia do their dirty work, knowing they'd never be prosecuted. The recent trial of Billy Bulger is a prime example.
Oh, and Jackie thought Texas businessmen did it. I once thought LBJ set it up.
Take your pick.
