Okay, up front, I grant you this is the least of it. However...

Christie matter of factly said that he learned of the Bridge mess after he finished his workout and as he was about to jump in the shower, at about 8:41 am. From the way that he spoke, nothing was unusual about this. But, it did make me wonder: at what time does Christie usually start his work day?

And, of course, one wonders how wilfully ignorant Christie had to be if he truly only learned that people who worked for him or, upon his recommendation, worked for the Republican Party and the Republican Governors, this week.

BTW, exactly how did closing a lane on a bridge punish the Mayor of Fort Lee? Is he normally traveling to NY during morning rush hour?

The author of the e-mail wanted to punish the children of Barbara Buono voters. Well, not really, but.

2. I did not read it as meaning that hurting the children was the reason for the lane closing.

I got the impression that it was done for a different reason and the children were collateral damage (as children so often are).

A lot is being said about why this happened. State supreme court issues, the head of the Democrats in the NJ Senate being a resident of Fort Lee. No endorsement from the Mayor of Fort Lee It will all come out eventually. Or not.

Meanwhile, it is sucking up way too much oxygen, oxygen that should be going to TPP and corporate income tax cuts, as we said earlier.
